What are my email server settings?
Email server settings generally stay the same regardless what device you are setting your email account up on e.g PC, Mobile phone or Tablet.
The only thing that differs is your connection to our mail server, meaning that things like your internet service provider or an anti-virus software on your device may interrupt connection through certain ports. Alternative settings, should the default not work for whatever reason can be found below:
Secure SSL/TLS Settings
Username / Email address : Your full Email Address
Password : Your Password as Provided
Username: Use the full email address.
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.co.za
IMAP Port: 993 POP3 Port: 995
Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.co.za
SMTP Port: 465
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.
When setting up the account ensure Security is set to SSL
Non Secure Settings
Username / Email address : Your full Email Address
Password : Your Password as Provided
Username: Use the full email address.
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.co.za
IMAP Port: 143 POP3 Port: 110
Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.co.za
SMTP Port: 587
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.
When setting up the account ensure Security is set to None
