How Can We Help?
Creating and managing support tickets in the client portal
Use the client portal to create a support request and keep replies together in one ticket.
Open a ticket
- Sign in to the client portal and select Open Ticket.
- Choose General Enquiries or Hosting Support, as appropriate.
- Enter a clear Subject, check the Department and choose the appropriate Priority.
- Describe the problem in Message. Include the affected domain or mailbox, when it happened and the exact error. Do not include passwords.
- Add relevant, redacted attachments if needed. The inspected form permits .jpg, .gif, .jpeg, .png, .txt and .pdf and displays a 64MB maximum file size. Follow the limit shown on your current form.
- Select Submit and check the resulting ticket confirmation. Keep the ticket reference.
Read and reply
Open My Support Tickets or the Support Tickets link, then select the ticket. Its detail screen shows the department, submitted date, status and priority. Select Reply, enter the additional information and submit it. Confirm that your reply appears in the thread.
The inspected test ticket shows that replying can reopen a closed ticket. After resolution, use the available close control. Do not assume tickets close after a fixed number of days.
Email notifications
Check the portal for the current conversation. Email History can show copies of account notifications, but a stored copy does not prove delivery to your inbox. If a notification is missing, check Junk/Spam and your account email details.
Need assistance? Contact Rhino Hosting Support. Include the relevant error and application version, but never send your password.
