How Can We Help?
How to Load WordPress on Cpanel
The inspected Rhino Hosting cPanel account provides WordPress Management, which opens WP Toolkit. Use it to install WordPress only into a domain and directory intended for the new site.
Before you install
Confirm the destination, available storage/database capacity and a valid HTTPS certificate. Back up any existing site. Do not install over a live website or select its root directory simply because it is the default domain.
Review the installation form
- Open WordPress Management in cPanel.
- On the WP Toolkit Installations tab, select Install.
- Check Installation path: protocol, target domain and installation directory. A directory such as wordpress creates a site below that path; an empty directory targets the domain root.
- Set the website title, language and desired plugin/theme set. Review the offered WordPress version.
- Choose the administrator username, a strong unique password and an email address you control. Store the credentials securely.
- Review Database and Automatic Update Settings. Do not alter database identifiers to work around an unexplained error.
- Only after confirming the destination is safe, select the final Install button.
Check the result
Wait for the installation result, then verify that the intended HTTPS site loads and you can access its WordPress dashboard. Keep WordPress, themes and plugins maintained. The installation form was inspected for this article; no new website was installed during the review.
If installation fails
Record the exact error and contact support. Avoid repeated installs, changes to an existing site’s database, or deleting files without first establishing what failed. If WordPress Management is not available in your account, ask support for the appropriate installation route.
Need assistance? Contact Rhino Hosting Support. Include the relevant error and application version, but never send your password.
